August Night Markets return to Covent Garden

Every Thursday and Friday in August from 7th August
Thursday 4pm – 10pm, Friday 12pm – 9pm


Following the success of last year’s food market, Covent Garden will again be hosting the popular Night Markets.

The markets will be taking place on the West Piazza every Thursday and Friday in August from the 7th. Open from 4pm – 10pm on Thursdays and 12pm – 9pm on Fridays, the market will feature a choice of 40 mouth-watering stalls from some of the UK’s finest traders including the Spore Boys, Wild Beef and Primrose Bakery.

Top UK chefs will also be cooking in the ‘Kitchen Theatre’ on selected evenings preparing dishes from the produce available to buy at the market.

Hairy Bikers: Geordie cooking duo who travel around the world by motorbike cooking on route

Friday 22nd August, 6.30pm – 7.30pm
Willie Harcourt-Cooze: Modern day Willie Wonka

Friday 29th August, 6.30pm – 7.30pm
Fergus Henderson: head chef of St John restaurant and famed for his book ‘Nose to Tail Eating’ – based on his philosophy of using the whole animal in cooking, including often neglected cuts of meat
